Prof. (Dr.) Anoop Ghosal is the Executive Chairman of Midland Hospital for Diabetes and Allied Sciences. He is also the Director of the National Diabetes, Obesity and Cholesterol Foundation (NDOC), President of the Diabetes Foundation (India), and a former Professor of Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi. Major Achievements: * Authored more than 300 research papers and ranked among the top 2% of diabetes scientists globally (as analyzed by Stanford University). * Editor-in-Chief of Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research & Reviews (Elsevier) and ClinicalKey (Elsevier). * Associate Editor of the Journal of Diabetes (USA) and the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition. * Member of the Academic Board of the British Medical Journal (BMJ). * Author of the book “Diabetes with Delights”. Awards and Honors: Dr. Anoop Ghosal has received the Dr. B. C. Roy Award (2006) and the Padma Shri (2007).
